Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging, oh wise herbalist! Love your selections, and it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that I learned that nigella, which I grow all the time, has edible seeds; found that out through Costas the herb guy at Brewery Market.

Thanks for sharing the great information regarding the gardening. Gardening is such a great feeling. I forget all the things when I do gardening. It is a practice of growing and cultivating plants as part of horticulture.

Gardening may be very specialized, with only one type of plant grown, or involve a large number of different plants in mixed plantings. It involves an active participation in the growing of plants, and tends to be labor intensive, which differentiates it from farming or forestry. Thanks.

I have a hard time cutting flowers from my garden to bring indoors, but somehow I'm fine with cutting them to eat. That's probably because I tend to grow many edible flowers in my vegetable garden, where harvesting is required. It's amazing how many common flowers are edible, like roses, daylilies and hibiscus.
